Preparation
- Mince the garlic, chop the green onions, and cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a splash of oil. Once hot, add the chicken pieces.
- Sauté the chicken until golden brown on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.
- Toss in the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken. Stir well to coat, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and caramelize slightly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
Feel free to add veggies such as broccoli or bell peppers during cooking. For a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes. You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp.
