  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Low-sodium option available.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adds a touch of sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Feel free to use sesame oil for a nutty twist.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger For a fresh and zesty kick.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them soak in the flavors for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove the salmon from the marinade, letting the excess drip off, and arrange the fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry the salmon for 10-15 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Transfer the salmon to a serving plate and sprinkle it with black pepper and sesame seeds.

Notes

For variations, add sriracha for spice, fresh lemon juice for zest, or herbs for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 1-2 months.
