Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb salmon fillets (skinless or skin-on; fresh is best but frozen works too)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil) For a richer flavor, try avocado oil.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or freshly minced garlic for a pungent kick)
  • 1 tsp paprika Smoked paprika adds depth.
  • 1 tsp salt Feel free to adjust based on preference.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper For a zesty touch.
  • 1 pc lemon For zest and juice; brightens each bite.
  • fresh parsley or dill For garnish and freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse the salmon under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Slice the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the salmon bites with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through.
  2. In the last minute, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon.
  3. Remove the salmon bites and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley or dill.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes. Consider letting the seasoned salmon marinate for 15-30 minutes before cooking for deeper flavor.
