Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, parsley, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional lemon juice. Mix until fully combined—it should hold together but not be overly wet.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Form the mixture into patties—about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil. Place the salmon patties in the basket in a single layer.
Cooking
- Air fry for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, gently flip the patties.
- Once golden and cooked through, remove the patties and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer for a few minutes at 350°F (175°C).
