  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits, flaky buttermilk Homemade biscuits can also be used.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese, cheddar Can mix with mozzarella or pepper jack for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Open your can of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  5. In a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish, layer the biscuit pieces evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the cooked bacon on top of the biscuit pieces, followed by your shredded cheese.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the entire dish, ensuring everything is well coated and combined.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden and the eggs are set.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can mix in fresh herbs, jalapeños, or even cream cheese for a richer texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
