  • 1 teaspoon cumin Earthy and aromatic, it deepens the flavor profile.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential for enhancing those delicious flavors.
For the Tacos
  • 6 corn or flour tortillas Use your favorite; corn adds a delightful earthiness, while flour provides a soft richness.
Toppings
  • to taste fresh cilantro
  • to taste avocado slices
  • to taste diced tomatoes
  • to taste sour cream or Greek yogurt For an indulgent treat.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven: Set it to 400°F (200°C) so it’s perfectly hot for your salmon.
  2. Prepare the salmon: Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over it, and sprinkle with lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Bake: Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven. Let the salmon bake for 15-20 minutes until it’s flaking easily with a fork.
  2. Warm the tortillas: In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
  3. Assemble your tacos: Flake the baked salmon with a fork and place it generously onto each tortilla. Top with fresh cilantro, avocado slices, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt.
  4. Serve immediately: Pair with lime wedges for an extra kick and enjoy!

Notes

Healthier Swaps: Substitute yogurt for sour cream for a lighter option. Seasonal Twists: In summer, toss in fresh corn or diced mango for sweetness. In fall, add roasted bell peppers for a cozy warmth.
