For the Big Mac Style Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet pickle relish
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon White wine vinegar

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Lightly toast the inside of the slider buns with a brush of melted butter for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Form into 12 small patties, slightly larger than your buns.
  4. Press a small thumbprint in the center of each patty to prevent bubbling.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the patties, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes per side for medium, until desired doneness.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on each patty the last 30 seconds of cooking to melt perfectly.
  3. Remove the patties to the baking sheet and tent loosely with foil to keep warm.
Sauce Preparation
  1. Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth and slightly pink.
  2. Taste and adjust the sauce to your preference.
Assembly
  1. Spread sauce on both halves of the buns, add a patty, top with shredded lettuce and a pickle slice.
  2. Cap with the bun top and press gently. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Double up small patties for a juicier bite, or make them thinner for a classic slider feel. Keep components separate until serving to prevent sogginess. Freeze cooked patties for up to 2 months if needed.
