- In a bowl, combine the chicken with soy sauce, ginger, and a teaspoon of black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
- Slice your bell pepper and onion, setting them aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the vegetable oil.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Toss in the minced garlic, bell pepper, and onion. Sauté for an additional 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the mixture, adding a touch more soy sauce if needed. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Finish with a dash more black pepper if you like it spicy.
Serving
- Spoon over fluffy rice or noodles and serve.
Notes
