Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a shallow baking dish.
- In a large bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch dressing until smooth.
- Stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Fold in the shredded chicken and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar and blue cheese over the top.
Cooking
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
- Garnish with chopped chives and serve hot with dippers.
Notes
For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cheeses and Greek yogurt. For a smoky flavor, add smoked paprika or use smoked cheddar.
