Preparation
  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the spinach and blanch for about 2 minutes until bright green. Drain and wilt the spinach in cold water. Squeeze out any excess moisture, then chop finely.
  2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, then add the cream cheese. Stir well, letting the cream cheese melt down and mix in.
  4. Add the chopped spinach into the creamy mixture, stirring until every leaf is coated.
  5. Sprinkle in the shredded cheese gradually, stirring until melted and thoroughly incorporated.
  6. Taste and adjust your seasoning if necessary.
  7. Transfer your Cheesy Creamed Spinach to a serving dish and serve warm.
