Method
Cooking the Pasta
- Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Making the Sauce
- While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter, stirring for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
Combining Ingredients
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of the pasta water and drain the rest. Add the drained pasta directly into the skillet with the garlic butter.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan, mixing it well so that it coats every strand of spaghetti. If the mixture feels too dry, add some reserved pasta water a little at a time.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, then toss in the fresh parsley.
Serving
- Plate up your Cheesy Garlic Parmesan Spaghetti, and garnish with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For added versatility, consider adding sautéed spinach or grilled chicken. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
