  • 1 lb Smoked Sausage Any variety, including chicken, pork, or plant-based.
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix Homemade seasoning can be used as well.
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese Cheddar or pepper jack recommended.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Avocado oil is a good substitute.
  • to taste Salt Essential for elevating taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the potatoes and sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes and smoked sausage. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle the ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper over them. Toss to coat.
Cooking
  1. Spread the mixture evenly onto a large baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through until tender and sausages are sizzling.
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, include bell peppers, onions, or broccoli. A sprinkle of cayenne or chili powder can spice things up. Dairy-free options are available by substituting the cheese.
