Preparation of Pasta
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Aim for al dente perfection, as it will cook a bit more later. Add the broccoli florets to the water during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Chicken
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the chicken is cooked, stir in the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute, just until the garlic is fragrant.
Combining Ingredients
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing everything together gently so that each piece is coated in delicious, garlicky goodness.
- Allow the pasta to warm through for an additional 2-3 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
Serving
- Plate your Chicken and Broccoli Pasta and generously sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently, adding a splash of chicken broth if needed.
