Ingredients

Pasta Base
  • 12 oz Pasta (penne or rotini) Cooked al dente
Main Ingredients
  • 2 breasts Chicken breasts Diced
  • 6 slices Bacon Crispy and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
Optional Vegetables
  • 1 cup Spinach Optional
  • 1/2 cup Cherry tomatoes Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble it, leaving some drippings in the skillet for flavor.
Cooking
  1. Add diced chicken breasts to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, being careful not to let it burn.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and ranch dressing, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and crumbled bacon to the skillet, tossing everything together gently.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and cover the skillet for a couple of minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
  6. Serve warm and watch as everyone digs in with smiles.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with grilled zucchini or mushrooms and use vegetable broth. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
