Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the mozzarella, and Parmesan. Stir in the cooked chicken, spinach, and a dash of salt and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3-4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, ensuring they cover the entire base.
- Spread half of the chicken and spinach mixture over the noodles, followed by another layer of marinara sauce.
- Repeat the layering process: noodles, filling, and sauce until all ingredients are used, topping with the remaining mozzarella.
Baking
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let your lasagna cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Let the lasagna sit for about 10 minutes after baking to help the layers set. You may add a splash of white wine to the marinara sauce for added flavor.
