Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly under cold water. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (or cayenne), and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer, allowing space between each one.
Cooking
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chickpeas turn golden and crispy. Remember to stir halfway through.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Notes
These chips can be paired with a dipping sauce like hummus or guacamole. For leftover chips, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for about 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to regain crispiness.
