Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups water For boiling.
  • 2 tablespoons black tea Can substitute with herbal tea for a caffeine-free option.
  • 1 cup milk Use dairy or any plant-based alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with maple syrup.
Spices
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom Can replace with pumpkin pie spice if needed.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract A splash for flavor enhancement.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a medium-sized saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of black tea. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in 1 cinnamon stick, 1 teaspoon of ginger, ½ teaspoon of nutmeg, and ½ teaspoon of cardamom. Allow to infuse for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags or strain leaves, then add 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup to sweeten.
  5. Pour in 1 cup of milk and return to low heat, stirring until warm but do not boil.
  6. Serve in mugs, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon or whipped cream.

Notes

Experiment with spices or add a splash of espresso. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
