Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, oregano, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
- Using your hands, gently mix until just combined. Don’t overwork the meat.
- Shape the mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- In a large skillet, pour the marinara sauce over medium-low heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, gently transfer them to the skillet, allowing them to soak up the rich flavors for about 10 minutes.
Serving
- Serve hot with spaghetti, in a sub, or enjoyed straight from the skillet.
Notes
Allow your meatballs to rest in the sauce for a few minutes before serving. Feel free to use homemade marinara for extra flavor.
