Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic, stirring for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
  2. Incorporate the fresh spinach into the pan, cooking until wilted. If using frozen spinach, ensure it’s fully heated.
  3. Carefully add the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring this mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually mix in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Add the pinch of nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  6. Transfer the creamed spinach to a serving dish and serve.

Notes

For added texture, try adding toasted breadcrumbs or chopped nuts on top. Fresh herbs like thyme or dill can elevate the flavors. A dash of red pepper flakes can add a delightful kick.
