Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti) Choose your favorite type.
Sauce
  • 3 cloves Freshly minced garlic Adds aromatic depth.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream (or dairy-free alternative) Provides the rich base for your sauce.
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese The star of the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp Butter Makes the sauce smooth.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve about a cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.
Sautéing Garlic
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. Slowly stir in the cream and allow it to simmer for a few minutes. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, stirring until melted and creamy.
Combining Pasta and Sauce
  1. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.
Serving
  1. Plate your pasta and finish with additional Parmesan and freshly cracked pepper.

Notes

Consider adding fresh herbs like parsley or basil before serving. For cheese variations, try Gruyère or feta. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days; reheat with a splash of cream or pasta water.
