Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Orzo Pasta The star of the dish.
  • 1 pound Shrimp Fresh or frozen.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a luscious sauce.
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese For added richness.

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the orzo according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Toss in the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. To the pot, add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese melts completely into a creamy goodness.
  4. Fold in the cooked orzo, sautéed shrimp, and fresh spinach into the sauce. Stir until evenly coated, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with more Parmesan or fresh herbs like parsley before serving.

Notes

Add diced tomatoes, zucchini, or bell peppers for extra nutrition, or mix in pesto for a Tuscan twist.
