  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Adds depth and balances sweetness.
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch To thicken sauce if desired.
  • 1/4 cup Green onions or sesame seeds For garnish.

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  4. For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry and stir it into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

Add veggies like broccoli or bell peppers for a one-pot meal. Spice it up with red pepper flakes.
