Preparation
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for maximum tenderness.
- Rub the ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stand the ribs up in the crockpot and pour the apple cider vinegar over them.
- Massage half of the BBQ sauce into the ribs.
Cooking
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, brush the remaining BBQ sauce on the ribs and broil for 5 minutes if desired.
Notes
For festive occasions, consider adding a splash of cherry or cola to the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
