Preparation
- Begin by slicing the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- Place the sausage in the bottom of the crockpot, followed by the sliced onions and minced garlic.
- Add the trimmed green beans on top of the sausage.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning over the top, then pour in the chicken broth.
- Set your crockpot to low and let it cook for 6-8 hours (or 3-4 hours on high).
- Serve hot when ready.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. It can also be frozen in portions for longer storage.
