  • 100 g Butter Adds creaminess and texture.
  • 150 g Sugar Balances the bitterness of the chocolate.
  • 50 g Flour Substitute with almond or coconut flour for a gluten-free version.
  • 3 large Eggs Room temperature for better texture.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Enhances the chocolate flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave; stir until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy.
  4. Slowly fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Sift in the flour and mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

Add nuts for extra crunch, serve with fresh fruit, or drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days or freeze for up to three months.
