  • 1 large lemon, juice freshly squeezed for that zingy brightness
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest to boost lemony goodness
  • to taste salt and pepper
For the Salmon
  • 2 fillets salmon wild-caught if possible, for better flavor
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped for garnish, or try dill for a different flavor

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a zip-top bag, pour the marinade over them, ensuring each fillet is coated. Let it marinate for at least 5 minutes.
Cooking

  2. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, leaving space between each fillet.
  3. Air fry the salmon for about 8–10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has a golden crust.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve while hot.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freezing is also possible; consume within 1 month for optimal taste.
