  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Pantry spice that layers flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Pantry spice that layers flavor.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and a fresh finish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment or lightly grease it.
  2. Slice the slider rolls horizontally without separating them, creating a pull-apart sheet on the bottom and top. Place the bottom half in the prepared dish.
  3. Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls, then add a blanket of Swiss cheese so every bite gets that melt.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese, pressing gently to compact the sliders.
Cooking
  1. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and poppy seeds until smooth.
  2. Drizzle or brush this buttery mixture evenly over the top of the sliders.
  3. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake an additional 5–10 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  4. Let the sliders rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice between the rolls and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

For storage, keep sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat covered in a 325°F (160°C) oven until warmed through. For freezing, assemble sliders in a freezer-safe dish and freeze for up to 2 months. Prepare the sliders up to the point of adding the buttery glaze, wrap tightly, refrigerate, and bake just before serving for fresh results.
