- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef (or sausage) and cook until it’s no longer pink, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Drain the excess fat from the skillet and return it to the stove.
- Lower the heat and add the block of cream cheese to the skillet, stirring occasionally until it melts completely.
- Pour in the can of Rotel tomatoes, juices and all, stirring until everything is combined and heated through.
- Gradually mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts beautifully into the dip.
- Remove from heat and transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Add any optional toppings you desire!
Notes
