Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Cooking
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add the minced garlic and dried Italian herbs to the pan. Stir for about 30 seconds until the garlic is fragrant.
- Pour in a splash of lemon juice, scraping any brown bits off the bottom of the pan to enhance the flavor. Let it simmer for a minute.
- Return the chicken to the pan and coat it in the buttery garlic sauce. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and let everything meld together for a minute or two.
- Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, drizzling extra sauce over the top.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. You can freeze the chicken for up to two months. To reheat, warm up in a skillet over medium-low heat, adding a splash of chicken broth.
