  • 1 tablespoon Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme) For freshness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the baby potatoes and slice them in half. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking Potatoes
  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the potatoes. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until tender but not mushy.
Cooking Steak
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak bites in batches, searing for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet.
Sautéing Garlic
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the drained potatoes to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the garlic butter. Return the steak to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
Finishing Touch
  1. Sprinkle freshly chopped herbs over the dish, give it a final toss, and serve warm.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. You can freeze cooked steak bites and potatoes for up to a month. When reheating, do so gently in a skillet over medium heat, adding a touch of butter.
