Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping them intact as a whole sheet for easy assembly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, poppy seeds, and black pepper.
Assembly
- Layer the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish, tuck slices of ham evenly across the surface, and top with cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the filling, brush with the butter-mustard mixture, and tent loosely with foil.
Baking
- Bake for 12 minutes covered, then remove the foil and bake another 3–6 minutes until cheese is melty and tops are golden.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve warm. For crispier edges, broil for 1–2 minutes while watching closely.
Notes
Make-ahead: Assemble the sliders, cover tightly, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze assembled, unbaked sliders wrapped tightly in foil for up to 2 months.
