Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment if you like easy cleanup.
- Slice the slider rolls horizontally in one motion so the tops stay connected; set tops and bottoms aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and parsley. The mixture will smell savory and bright.
Assembly
- Layer the bottom halves of the rolls in the baking dish snugly.
- Tuck slices of ham evenly over the bottoms, then pile on the cheese so each slider gets a gooey blanket.
- Replace the roll tops, brush generously with the butter-mustard mixture, and sprinkle poppy seeds if using.
Baking
- Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
- Remove foil, then bake 3–6 more minutes until the tops are golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Let the sliders rest 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead: Assemble the sliders in the dish, cover tightly, and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Bake when ready, adding a few extra minutes if cold. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
