Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–4 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, egg, vanilla, melted coconut oil, and optional applesauce. Mix until smooth.
- Fold the wet ingredients into the dry until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop and roll the dough into 1-inch balls and chill for 5 minutes.
Cooking
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place bites in a single layer.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown.
- Toss the warm bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
Serving
- Serve immediately with a dipping sauce, such as Greek yogurt mixed with honey and cinnamon.
Notes
Chill the dough for better shape retention. Overcrowding the fryer can prevent crispiness. Use fresh cinnamon for a bright finish.
