  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Aroma is everything.
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil or light butter A little fat for crispness.
  • 1/2 cup applesauce (unsweetened) Optional for extra moisture and reduced oil.
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Mixed with 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Use a sugar substitute to lower sugar.
For Cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–4 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, egg, vanilla, melted coconut oil, and optional applesauce. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry until a soft dough forms.
  5. Scoop and roll the dough into 1-inch balls and chill for 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place bites in a single layer.
  2. Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown.
  3. Toss the warm bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with a dipping sauce, such as Greek yogurt mixed with honey and cinnamon.

Notes

Chill the dough for better shape retention. Overcrowding the fryer can prevent crispiness. Use fresh cinnamon for a bright finish.
