- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a drizzle of olive oil.
- Prepare the chicken by cutting it into strips of even size for uniform cooking.
- In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Set up a dredging station: whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
- Coat each chicken strip by dipping it into the egg mixture and then coating it with the pretzel mixture.
- Arrange the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, turning them halfway through until the edges turn golden brown.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for later. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C). Let tenders rest after baking for better flavor. Broil for extra crunch if desired.
