  • 8 oz Cream cheese Ensure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup Plain yogurt Use a dog-safe yogurt option.
  • 2 tbsp Honey Skip if the dog is diabetic.
  • 1 large Egg Provides structure and protein.
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened peanut butter Make sure it contains no xylitol.
  • 2 tbsp Carob powder Optional, can be omitted.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a small, dog-safe baking dish (an 8-inch round works perfectly).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, plain yogurt, honey, and peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Crack the egg into the mixture, then blend until fully incorporated and creamy.
  5. If using, mix in the carob powder.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 25 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature before serving or refrigerating.

Notes

To keep this cheesecake fresh, store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze slices for up to 3 months. Serve cold or slightly thawed.
