- Mince the garlic, grate the ginger, and cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until edges are golden and chicken is mostly cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a bowl, combine honey and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the chicken, stirring well to coat each piece.
- Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, reducing slightly and coating the chicken in a glossy glaze.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water or broth to prevent drying out.
