Preparation
  1. Wash the apples thoroughly. Core and slice them into thin wedges, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Place the apple slices in a bowl and squeeze the lemon juice over them to keep them fresh.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir in the honey, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until it forms a golden glaze.
  3. Gently add the apple slices to the skillet and toss them to coat in the honey mixture.
  4. Sauté for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the apples are tender and caramelized.
  5. Remove from heat and serve warm, drizzled with any remaining honey glaze.
