Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, and mixed vegetables. Stir until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper according to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Generously sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.
- Crush the crackers and layer them over the cheese.
Baking
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving hot.
Notes
You can make it ahead, and it freezes beautifully. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
