Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Gradually fold in the shredded cheddar, green onions, bacon bits, and garlic powder.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the dip is heated through.
