- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk until well combined.
- Gently pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. The batter should be lumpy.
Cooking
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat until a sprinkle of water sizzles on contact.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- If cooking multiple pancakes, keep them warm in an oven set to low heat.
- Stack the pancakes high and serve with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.
Notes
