  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Thickens the casserole.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Or fresh garlic for more flavor.
  • 1 tsp onion powder Enhances the aroma.
  • salt and pepper to taste Essential for flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend.

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, add the cooked chicken, broccoli florets, rice, chicken broth, milk, and cream of mushroom soup. Stir well to combine the ingredients.
  2. Sprinkle in garlic and onion powder, alongside salt and pepper, adjusting to your taste.
Cooking
  1. Set the pot over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  2. Once boiling, cover the pot, lower the heat to a simmer, and let it cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Check the rice after 20 minutes; it should be tender and the liquid absorbed. Add more broth or milk if needed.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and fold in the shredded cheese until melted and combined.
