Preparation
- In a large pot over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula as it sizzles. Cook until it’s browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir well to combine before adding the macaroni and beef broth.
- Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and cover. Let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
- Stir in the milk and cheese until everything is melted and creamy.
- Add the Dijon mustard, stir well, and taste to see if it needs more seasoning.
- Ladle the One-Pot Cheeseburger Macaroni into bowls and enjoy while it’s warm!
Notes
Feel free to unleash creativity by adding frozen peas, diced peppers, or spinach for extra nutrition. For a spicy kick, toss in some diced jalapeños or hot sauce. This dish can also be baked for a crunchy top.
