Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2-3 pounds Boneless Beef Ribs Look for well-marbled meat for tenderness. If boneless isn't available, substitute with bone-in ribs.
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce Your favorite store-bought kind works well, but homemade adds a personal touch; consider adding honey for sweetness.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Brings aromatic depth.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Enhances the savory flavor of the beef.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste, essential for balancing flavors. Opt for sea salt for a pop of mineral flavor.
  • 1 tsp Optional Spice Blend Consider smoked paprika or chili powder for a kick.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mix all over the boneless beef ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Place the seasoned ribs in a large baking dish. For extra flavor, layer with sliced onions or garlic.
  4. Pour the BBQ sauce evenly over the ribs, making sure they are generously covered.
Cooking
  1. Tightly cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
  2. After 3 hours, remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Bake for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour, until the sauce is sticky and caramelly.
  3. Once done, take the ribs out and let them rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper or chili flakes, fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme, or mix in apple cider vinegar or brown sugar into the BBQ sauce. For a quick version, cook in a pressure cooker for 40 minutes before finishing in the oven.
