  • 8 oz Cream Cheese For an indulgent, creamy finish.

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering your chicken, ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour the can of cream of chicken soup over the chicken, followed by the chicken broth.
  4. Dollop the cream cheese on top. Don’t worry about mixing just yet; let it melt as it cooks.
  5. Cover the crock pot and set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once done, remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot. Stir well to combine everything.
Serving
  1. Spoon the creamy ranch chicken over rice, pasta, or a fresh salad, and dig in!

Notes

For extra flavor, sear the chicken before adding it to the crock pot. You can also swap chicken breast for thighs, and use low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt to lighten it up. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
