Preparation
  1. Start by browning your ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until browned, then drain the excess fat.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine the Velveeta cheese, cream cheese, and Rotel tomatoes over low heat.
  3. Stir continuously until the cheeses are completely melted and smooth.
  4. Add the cooked meat to the cheese mixture and blend well.
  5. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder according to your taste.
  6. Allow it to heat through, stirring occasionally, then serve warm with tortilla chips or veggie sticks.

Notes

For a twist, add jalapeƱos for extra spice. You can use different cheeses like pepper jack or sharp cheddar for different flavors. This dip can be made vegetarian by swapping meat with black beans or lentils.
