Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage until browned and no longer pink. Remove and drain excess grease.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the bread cubes, cooked sausage, and any additional vegetables desired.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the top, ensuring everything is evenly soaked.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.
Cooking
