Preparation
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- Pour the apple mixture into the bottom of your slow cooker, spreading it out evenly.
- In another bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples evenly.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Once done, uncover the slow cooker and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
