For the Chicken
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie is recommended for speed and flavor.
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s style) Classic buffalo backbone.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted Rounds the heat and adds richness.
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Softens the vinegar tang for kids.
For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces slider buns or mini brioche rolls, split and lightly toasted
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce Adds crunch and freshness.
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery Traditional and refreshing.
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing Creamy contrast.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions Bright, oniony finish.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Shred the cooked chicken in a bowl using two forks until tender ribbons form. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and honey until glossy. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
  3. Pour the sauce over the shredded chicken and toss until evenly coated.
Assembly
  1. Lightly toast slider buns under the broiler or in a skillet, cut-side up, until golden and slightly crisp.
  2. Spread a teaspoon of ranch or blue cheese dressing on the toasted bun bottoms.
  3. Add a generous tablespoon of buffalo chicken on top.
  4. Top with shredded lettuce, celery slices, and green onions.
  5. Cap with the bun tops, pressing gently to meld the layers, and serve immediately while hot.
  6. For an extra touch, brush assembled sliders with melted butter and bake at 350°F for 5–7 minutes.

Notes

For a healthier option, mix hot sauce with plain Greek yogurt instead of butter. Can also use shredded turkey or make a vegetarian version with jackfruit or roasted cauliflower.
