Ingredients

For the Strawberry Tiramisu
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Wash, hull, and slice before using.
  • 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese Forms the creamy filling.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Whipped to add airiness.
  • 1/3 cup Sugar Balances the sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Adds warmth.
  • 1 cup Coffee or Espresso Prepared strong and cooled.
  • 1 package Ladyfingers Light and airy cookies for layering.

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Wash, hull, and slice about two cups of fresh strawberries. Set aside in a bowl with a sprinkle of sugar to macerate.
  2. Make the Cream Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mascarpone cheese, 1 cup of heavy cream, 1/3 cup of sugar, and a splash of vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
  3. Brew the Coffee: Prepare a cup of strong coffee or espresso and allow it to cool.
  4. Dip the Ladyfingers: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  5. Layer the Ingredients: In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture, then half of the macerated strawberries.
  6. Repeat Layers: Again, layer the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and finish with the remaining strawberries.
  7. Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best flavor) before serving.

Notes

For variations, try adding a chocolate drizzle, using a berry medley, or garnishing with fresh mint. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
