Ingredients

Frosting Ingredients
  • 1 cup Butter, softened Adds creaminess and depth.
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar Sweetness and texture; can substitute with coconut sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract Brings warm, rich flavor; almond extract is an alternative.
  • 2-4 tablespoons Milk Adjust for desired consistency; use non-dairy milk for vegan option.
  • a pinch Salt Balances the sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until creamy and pale, about 2 minutes.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed to avoid a sugary cloud, then increasing to medium until combined, resulting in a fluffy texture.
  3. Pour in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, continuing to beat until everything is well blended.
  4. Add the milk gradually, one tablespoon at a time, until you achieve a smooth and spreadable consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust flavors as necessary. Add more vanilla or salt if desired.

Notes

For a festive twist, add ½ teaspoon of almond extract. You can substitute half the butter with Greek yogurt or cream cheese for a lighter option. Use food coloring for a seasonal touch!
